Auckland Kids BJJ Graduation October 26th
We had a fantastic graduation. Four students moved up to the grey/white belt. Well done! The belts were earned with hard work and consistent training. I'm very honored to be able to teach such a great group of children. I'm looking forward to taking everyone to the next level in their BJJ game.

Skate Party Wrap Up
Thanks to all who attended our 2nd Anniversary Skateland party. We had 41 skaters in total which was great to see. It was really good to see our students that have never skated before give it a go. Quite a few of you can now say you know how to skate.
I received an email from the manager of Skateland. Read the quote below from Paul.
"The staff said it was one of their favourite parties of all time-so well done."
A big thank you to the staff at Skateland for making our party awesome. We'll be back!
We are looking forward to another fantastic year at Auckland Kids BJJ. See you all on the mats.

Our skate party is getting closer
We are on for Saturday the 26th at Skateland. Time: 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
I highly recommend that if you and/or your child has never been skating before to purchase the set of pads available at the skating rink. Beginners will fall down! Wearing the pads will make learning for the first time a much more pleasant experience.

Tuesday training King and Queen of the mat
Tuesday our Junior's worked on learning the break fall to the side. We also worked on moving sideways with lapel and sleeve grips. Lateral movement straddling a line with good posture. Everyone enjoyed the drill a lot. We will progress into a take down very soon.
Our Seniors brushed up on the standing guard pass. We went over the basics after a while drilling. We up the game with a King and Queen of the mat session. The girls were exceptionally awesome at passing the guard using this technique. I'm very proud to have such quick learners in our school.
